American actress and Friend of the Maison, Zoe Saldaña, lit up the 82nd Golden Globes red carpet, debuting a stunning Cartier High Jewellery set: the Melis necklace and earrings as part of the Maison’s ongoing Nature Sauvage collection.
This exceptional set was handpicked by Saldaña and her stylist, Petra Flannery, during an exclusive appointment with Alexa Abitbol, High Jewellery Workshop Director, at Cartier’s legendary 13 Paix boutique.
The Melis necklace is a masterpiece crafted over 738 hours of meticulous craftsmanship by Cartier’s artisans, showcasing the Maison’s rare and intricate savoir-faire techniques. Its name, meaning “honey,” is reflected in its striking centrepiece: a bee totem adorned with a 2.64-carat Fancy Intense yellow diamond in the Maison’s signature briolette cut.
Surrounding this precious, poetic emblem is a stylised honeycomb design, formed entirely from yellow diamond beads, briolette-cut, and brilliant-cut diamonds. The radiant warmth of the rich colour palette, highlighted by the yellow gold setting, beautifully mirrors the golden sweetness of honey.

The actress, who won 3 Golden Globes for her performance in Jacques Audiard’s “Emilia Pérez”, was the highlight among the dressings by the Maison for the night. She completed her look with the exquisite Cartier High Jewellery Nature Sauvage earrings, crafted in 18k yellow gold and adorned with a dazzling combination of white and yellow diamonds.
She also wore the elegant Broderie de Cartier ring, a delicate creation in 18k rose gold set with shimmering diamonds, adding a final touch of sophistication to her ensemble.
It is safe to say that Zoe Saldaña has effortlessly embodied timeless elegance and modern artistry on one of Hollywood’s biggest nights.
