Zendaya, Jason Mamoa, and Chiara Ferragni were joined by other A list celebrities and digital influencers sitting front row for FENDI Fall-Winter 2019/2020 Couture show in Rome last week. Carrying the theme “The Dawn of Romanity”, the couture show took place at the Colle Palatino, in the heart of Ancient Rome.
Starting at sunset, the couture presentation was celebrating FENDI’s relationship with the Eternal City and strengthened once again its deep and long-lasting bond. The guests got the chance to admire the beauty of the Eternal City before enjoying 54 looks-number dedicated to the years of the tenure of Karl Lagerfeld at the Roman luxury House.
The models walked on an ancient path, blending the Modernity of the FENDI Couture Collection with the power of the Roman History and a live performance by Italian composer Caterina Barbieri. The event then followed by an exclusive dinner that hosted a breathtaking view of Rome at the presence of Silvia Venturini FENDI and Serge Brusnchwig, Chairman and CEO of the FENDI Maison.
“I am so excited and this is not a bad way to spend your first day in Rome; I am very lucky to be here,” Zendaya said to WWD.com. The young actress wore a patterned gold dress with a wrap detail on the waist, cut-out neck design and full sleeves. Zendaya also completed her look in the evening with oversized earrings and gold strappy stilettos.
Next to the young Spider-Man: Far From Home starlet, the event also saw the attendance of Catherine-Zeta Jones, her daughter Cary Douglas, Susan Sarandon, Zoey Dutch, Winni Harlow, and Luka Sabbat.
