New York — June 2014 — Tory Burch announces its launch in Indonesia with a boutique in Jakarta. The 2,200-square foot store is scheduled to open in August at Plaza Senayan, a premier luxury shopping destination.
In keeping with all Tory Burch stores, the façade is distinguished by orange lacquer doors and space has been custom-designed to create a residential feel. The décor features gold leaf chandeliers, raffia walls and brown marble and white-washed oak floors, offering a neutral backdrop for a sophisticated mix of furnishings—teal velvet sofas, seafoam silk curtains, blue embroidered pillows and brass tables.
In honour of the opening, the Jakarta boutique will offer an exclusive black python handbag with leather interior and gold hardware. Only 20 pieces of this limited-edition style were made, and they are available just at this location. In addition to the exclusive product, a wide assortment of the Tory Burch collection will be available, including ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, small leather goods, jewellery, eyewear and, coming to this fall, watches.
