Party, Exhibitions Held to Celebrate ‘Time Place Magazine’ 50th Issue

Jakarta, September 3, 2015 – It was a glittering night to remember with friends and partners as Irwan Danny Mussry, President and CEO of Time International and Editor-In-Chief of The Time Place Magazine, hosted a special celebration for the publication’s #50 issue. The gathering, marking the publishing of the 144-page “The Collector’s Edition” and themed “My Finest Hour, My Golden Hour”, drew guests including watch collectors, influencers from business, the arts and entertainment, members of the media and partners to the Bali Room at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta. With MC Arie Kirana leading the proceedings, Mr Mussry gave a welcome speech and toast to the invitees, who were dressed in the evening’s celebratory colours of black and gold. They enjoyed cocktails and canapes as they viewed a special exhibition of 16 celebrity portraits, inspired by the recently launched “My Finest Hour” campaign from The Time Place.

To the delight of beautiful mechanical and high jewellery timepiece lovers, The Time Place also unveiled 50 superbly crafted creations from 13 brands, with experts on hand to provide insight into their stories and their technical expertise. The exhibition continues at The Time Place Pacific Place. The celebration continued late into the night, with DJ Anton Wirjono putting guests in the mood for dancing and riveting musical performances by Laid This Night, Sandy Sandoro and Millane Fernandez. The My Finest Hour subjects – drawn from a diverse range of fields, including entertainment, sports, fashion and the arts – are Susan Bachtiar, Ferdy Hasan, Indra Priawan Djokosoetono, Arimbi Nimpuno, Adhika Maxi, Tigor Siahaan, Didit Hediprasetyo, Maylaffayza, Kevin Mintaraga, Rifat Sungkar, Richard Sam Bera, Sigi Wimala, Teges Prita Soraya, Cindy Angelina, Kinez Riza, and Angelique Widjaja.

They were photographed by three of the nation’s most acclaimed young photographers: Hakim Satriyo, Diera Bachir and Davy Linggar.
