Bogor, 9 September 2024 – Yayasan Bakti Untuk Bangsa by Time International is pleased to share a significant milestone in its corporate social responsibility efforts with the construction of the first sustainable block school in collaboration with Happy Hearts Indonesia. This initiative not only underscores Time International’s commitment to sustainable development but also commemorates its 10th anniversary in Indonesia.
Through the volunteer efforts of Time International employees, who participated in the construction process, the eco block school project has been a collaborative effort reflecting the company’s values of teamwork, community, and sustainability. The eco blocks used in the construction are made from recycled materials to minimize environmental impact. This approach provides PAUD Ar-Rafa students with a more enriching educational experience, empowering them to dream big and reach their full potential. During the opening ceremony, Shannon Hartono (Executive Vice President of Time International), Santy Kristiana (General Manager of Product Planning & Merchandising), and Elina Widakdo (General Manager of Logistics) were present to witness the bright smiles of the students and teachers, who received special gifts from Chopard and Urban Icon.
“It is an honor to be able to take part in building PAUD Ar-Rafa as part of our commitment to contribute to society and play a role in helping to provide a better future for the next generation through education.” said Shannon Hartono, Executive Vice President of Time International.
