Jakarta, 3 September 2018 – INTime was very proud to congratulate the national team for winning medals at the Asian Games 2018. The Indonesian team took its gold, silver and bronze medals with spectacular performances in the wushu competition.
Lindswell Kwok won the gold medal in the women’s Taijiquan and Taijijian all-round competition beating Hong Kong’s Uen Ying into second place. Performed in front of President Joko Widodo, Lindswell earned the highest total score of with 19.50 points.
Edgar Xavier Marvelo claimed silver after finishing second in the men’s Changquan competition. He scored 9.75 points after defeating Taiwanese Tsai Tsemin with a final score of 9.70.
Indonesia also brought home three bronze medals in the wushu competition. Achmad Hulaefi picked up the bronze medal in the men’s Daoshu and Gunshu all-around numbers. He scored 19.41, 0.01 higher than tough competitor Jowei Si Wen Lim of Singapore, who scored 19.40. Meanwhile Yusuf Widiyanto and Puja Riyaya took the bronze medals in the men’s Sanda 56 kilograms and 70 kilograms category respectively.
To celebrate the achievements, Time International invited all the five winning wushu athletes to INTime boutique in Plaza Senayan Jakarta for an intimate event and presented each of them with a TAG Heuer watch as a form of appreciation for their excellent accomplishments and willpower.
