The K-drama is indeed a world of its own. Since the end of the 90s, the cultural phenomenon swept the world away with the charms of it’s good looking actors and actresses, and also – on some series – the lavish fashion featured within each episode of the tv drama. With the internet boom, the K-drama reaches every household easily these days and makes everyone hooked – one series after another.
The current K-drama global obsession is none other than “Crash Landing on You.” Available on the Netflix streaming service, the series highlighted an uncommon love connection between a stylish (of course) South Korean heiress (played by Son Ye-Jin) and a handsome (what else) North Korean captain (played by the eternal heartthrob Hyun Bin). The tv drama somewhat caused a real-life drama when a group considered the plot of the series rather glamorizing the life in North Korea.
That drama aside, “Crash Landing on You” served many serious high fashion moments, especially by the lead casts. Just fresh from episode 11, Yoon Se Ri (the South Korean heiress) was seen accompanying the North Korean captain shopping for a makeover, wearing a super chic tweed jacket from CHANEL fall 2019 runway. The runway version of the look was worn with oversized cream pants, while in the episode, it was styled with a mini skirt, tied on the hip with a slim CHANEL chain belt, and black pumps. It’s equally chic, and the tv version definitely fit for the petite actress. The styling made her figure looked effortlessly taller. And let’s be frank, with her figure she would look amazing in everything the wardrobe department gives her. Plus, the fact that actress Son Ye-Jin is playing a wealthy and successful woman only means that she will always be dressed in beautiful clothes.
