FENDI Men’s Fall/Winter 2024 Campaign with Nicholas Galitzine & Zhang Ruoyun

June 2024 – For Men’s Fall/Winter 2024-25, FENDI launches its new worldwide campaign featuring House’s Global Menswear Ambassadors, British actor Nicholas Galitzine and Chinese actor Zhang Ruoyun.

The campaign further consolidates the talents’ relationship with FENDI, following their latest attendance at the Men’s Fall/Winter 2024-25 Show in Milan last January 2024. Nicholas Galitzine, who has been building his relationship with the Maison since his first attendance to the Baguette 25th Anniversary show in New York in September 2022, was appointed as the House’s first ever Global Menswear Ambassador in 2023 and was the face of the Men’s Fall/Winter 2023-24 campaignOn the other hand, Zhang Ruoyun was named as FENDI’s spokesperson for leather goods in China back in 2021.

Along their role as FENDI Global Menswear Ambassadors, Galitzine and Ruoyun are involved in important upcoming professional projects. Galitzine, whose recent successes include Prime Video film “The Idea of You” alongside Anne Hathaway and Sky original series “Mary & George” with Julianne Moore – and whose previous roles include the record-breaking Netflix movie “Purple Hearts” and Amazon Prime Video’s “Red, White & Royal Blue” – will next star as He-Man in Amazon MGM & Mattel’s highly anticipated live action “Masters Of The Universe” directed by Travis Knight and will also be seen in Amazon MGM’s working title comedy based off the novel Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie alongside Hugh Jackman, Emma Thompson, Nicholas Braun, and Molly Gordon. Ruoyun’s most famous works include “Qing Yu Nian” “Sword, Snow, Stride”, “Ordinary Greatness” and “The Hope”, and he will next be seen in “Evacuate From The 21st Century”, to be released in summer 2024.

Designed by Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear Silvia Venturini Fendi, FENDI Men’s Fall/Winter 2024-25 collection muses on the noble pursuits of the great outdoors, streamlined by the swagger of the city. The spirit of the collection is captured in the new campaign under the creative and film direction of multifaceted Italian artist Nico Vascellari. Galitzine and Ruoyun are portrayed in a metallic and geometric set – further animated by transparent glass structures – which recalls the brushed steel FF monogram benches which were featured on the FENDI Men’s Fall/Winter 2024-25 runway, also conceived by Vascellari.

Signature looks and accessories from the collection are styled on Galitzine and Ruoyun in ways that transcend and surprise. The spirit of the Scottish kilt is imbued in long pleated shorts worn with leather Wellingtons and hiking socks. Generous outerwear shapes are adorned with Selleria leather collars and contrast accents in suede ‘corduroy’, along with fisherman’s coats and waterproof wax jackets in FF canvas. Colour-blocked knitwear underpins tailoring with playful accents, whilst evening ensembles are caught by flourished crystal FF evening brooches by Artistic Director of Jewellery, Delfina Delettrez Fendi.

Bags are all curves and contours, from the new Siesta bag that flattens like a pillow in striped, to the folding modularity of the Melon hobo and backpack styles. The smooth, cushioned form of the Peekaboo ISeeU Soft is featured alongside the beveled lines of the padded Baguette Soft Trunk. On foot, lace-up deck shoes are elevated on a platform injected sole, whilst grain leather Wellington boots are traced with Selleria stitching up the ankle.

Special pieces from the season’s collaborations include the Peekaboo ISeeU bag and FENDI MAD futuristic sneakers designed in conjunction with the Beijing, Los Angeles and Rome-based architecture studio MAD Architects founded by architect Ma Yansong, as well as the ‘FF’ monogrammed FENDI x DEVIALET Mania portable handheld speaker realized in partnership with French audio professionals Devialet.

FENDI Men’s Fall/Winter 2024-25 campaign comprises 8 single and 5 double-page visuals and a video, as well as specific visuals for the eyewear collection and the new FENDI Travel sunglasses, to be seen on worldwide magazines and OOH from June 2024, including the first OOH in Via Montenapoleone, Milan (Italy) from June 12th, 2024.
