It’s a pleasure to share with you Diesel’s latest Denim Collection – SPREAD THE COLOR, part of the Spring-Summer 2020 collection.

At first sight the surfaces of the denim appear in DIESEL’s signature premium washes and fades; it’s when you look at the edges and the details that the vibrancy starts to emerge. The choice was a design action taken by the DIESEL team to spark a reaction outside, in the real world; this season, DIESEL aims to “Spread the Color”. With 6 options for women and 23 options for men, this collection—at first—might look similar to others. Yet, where there’s an abrasion or where the ankle is cuffed, color radiates. The unexpected touch is available in a number of hues, ranging from fluorescent pink and yellow to bold reds and blues.

The technique to achieve this polychrome effect is particularly inventive. The color inside these denim trousers is not a print, nor a traditional dye. Instead, the tones are achieved through a foaming process, which is absorbed directly into the textile for a soft-to-the-touch feel and a natural impression.
