It was a dapper moment for FENDI during MET GALA 2022 as two brilliant actors attended the glamorous fund-raising event wearing looks from the Italian fashion house. The two actors, Leslie Odom Jr and Hugh Dancy, were seen wearing different tailored looks during the main red carpet event.

Academy Award nominee Leslie Odom Jr wore a contemporary take of FENDI tailoring – sleek and streamlined – with a unique headpiece to complete his look. The top consisted of a FENDI MTM black suit with short sleeves worn over a long-sleeved white shirt, which created a nice layering effect. A fur brooch enriched the black suit for a nice finish. Adding the quirkiness, the actor and singer chose to wear a pair of mary jane shoes that reveal his white socks underneath.
Meanwhile, English actor Hugh Dancy chose to wear a classic and cool all-white tailored ensemble (but with black shoes for the occasion). Attending the event with his wife, actress Claire Danes, his top was a double-breasted tuxedo jacket worn over a crisp white shirt – complete with a bow tie (also in white). A risky look, considering the colour ensemble, yet fitting to the theme of this year’s MET GALA. During the Gilded Age period, the well-dressed men had their way of revealing their style and class to society. And we could imagine this all-white look effortlessly becoming the talk of the town.
