J12 BLEU
LIMITED EDITION

For the first time ever, CHANEL dresses its iconic watch in blue matte ceramic. Twenty-five years after the J12 revolutionized the watch industry – the black edition launched in 2000 and the white in 2003 – the J12 BLEU explores a new territory where the expert savoir-faire of the CHANEL Manufacture gives rise to a series of exceptional creations in an exclusive colour.

Deep and matte. Intense and unique. CHANEL creates the J12 Bleu, giving this emblematic watch a ceramic hue that is as exclusive as it is powerful. Although blue has always been part of the House’s palette, present in fashion, beauty and even of the jewellery boxes of the 1932 “Bijoux de Diamants” collection, it is interpreted today in a new shade exclusively made for watchmaking.

“In the course of 25 years, CHANEL has elevated ceramic to the level of a precious material” says Arnaud Chastaingt, Director of the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio. “The art of ceramic is undeniably CHANEL watchmaking and our outstanding savoir-faire: it is an inspiring material that, thanks to the genius of our engineers, offers a vast creative playing field”.

It took five years of research for the CHANEL Watch Manufacture to develop the J12 BLEU’s exclusive hue, demonstrating the absolute mastery of the production techniques of this sophisticated material that is scratchproof, highly resistant and durable.

“I dreamt of giving a colour to black, of illuminating it with blue. The final choice of this particular blue was like an epiphany” continues Arnaud Chastaingt. “I wanted a blue that has a rigorous elegance, a blue that is nearly black or a black that is nearly blue”.

The J12 BLEU bears witness to the excellence of the CHANEL Watch Manufacture craftsmanship, perfectly mastering the development and production process of this singular blue ceramic.

A blue that reveals its multiple facets with the play of light, adorns nine new creations combining radiance and discretion, excellence and precision. A collection of nine watches, some of which set with bright blue precious sapphires, is casting the spotlight on to the J12 BLEU…

J12 BLEU CALIBER 12.1 38 MM WATCH
J12 BLEU CALIBER 12.2 33 MM WATCH

When the bright blue of the indicator’s baguette-cut sapphires meets the matte blue ceramic imagined by the CHANEL Watch Creation Studio, an effortless elegant J12 BLEU appears. Blue in its purest form. Equipped with the Caliber 12.1 for the 38 MM and the Caliber 12.2 for the 33 MM, these black-coated movements are made in the Swiss Kenissi Manufacture, co-owned by CHANEL.

J12 BLEU CALIBER 12.1 38 MM WATCH

With its matte blue ceramic finish, 38 MM case, blackened bezel and glossy varnished indicators, the J12 BLEU Caliber 12.1 embodies the very essence of this collection. The ceramic bezel is adorned with a baguette motif for a distinguished elegance.

This new watch icon is equipped with the self-winding Manufacture Caliber 12.1 movement, which is chronometer certified by COSC* and has a power reserve of 70 hours. It is produced by the Swiss Kenissi Manufacture, co-owned by CHANEL.

J12 BLEU CALIBER 12.2 33 MM WATCH

This interpretation of the J12 BLEU features a 3 33 MM watch case set with 12 diamond indicators.

Visible through a sapphire crystal case-back, the 12.2 Caliber is adorned and equipped with an oscillating mass presenting a perfect circle, a CHANEL Watch signature. It is a certified chronometer by the COSC, Official Swiss Control of Chronometers, and has a power reserve of 50 hours.

J12 BLEU DIAMOND TOURBILLON WATCH

The essence of CHANEL Haute Horlogerie, this J12 BLEU features a flying tourbillon whose hypnotic rotations are magnified by a 65-facet solitaire diamond set in the center of its cage. Gabrielle Chanel’s favorite stone lights up the openwork blue dial while enhancing the natural sparkle of the 34 baguette cut sapphires set on the bezel of this self-winding mechanical watch.

This J12 BLEU ceramic is endowed with a special finishing touch – the sides of the case and bracelet have been hand-polished for 8 hours – and beats to the rhythm of the Caliber 5, the result of three years of development at the Manufacture. Comprising 172 parts, this diamond-set flying tourbillon movement is a signature of the CHANEL aesthetic and watchmaking expertise.

J12 BLEU X-RAY WATCH

A tribute to transparency, the J12 BLEU X-RAY conjures a new shade of blue for this collection, inspired by the colours of the sea and the sky on a clear day. Over 1600 hours of work were required to sculpt the case and bracelet of this model from a single block of synthetic sapphire. Crafted in white gold, the bezel and links are set with 196 bright blue baguette-cut natural sapphires. For the ultimate detail, the Creation Studio ties white gold with black and creates an elegant contrast to this symphony of blues.

At the heart of the Caliber 3.1, the choice of the colourless sapphire for the plate and the two bridges highlights the beauty of this J12 BLEU X-RAY whose gears seem to float in the air. This impression is accentuated by a floating bridge in a colorless sapphire, adorned with 12 baguette-cut bright blue natural sapphires indicators.

J12 BLEU 42 MM SAPPHIRES WATCH
J12 BLEU 28 MM SAPPHIRES WATCH

Playing with extremes, the CHANEL Watch Creation Studio has imagined this watchmaking duo that presents two J12 watches, one with a 42 MM case and the other with a 28 MM case.

This exceptional Mini & Maxi pair is adorned with blue sapphires that illuminate the bezel, dial and bracelet. An infinite source of brilliance, the bright blue of the natural stones contrasts with CHANEL’s matte blue ceramic. More than 110 hours of gem-setting within the CHANEL Manufacture were required to embellish these two J12 cases, with 170 baguette-cut sapphires for the 42 MM and 196 baguette-cut sapphires for the 28 MM. The blackened steel bezels and crowns enhance the depth of the blue of the ceramic by highlighting these subtle nuances.

LaJ12 BLEU 42 MM SAPPHIRES is equipped with the COSC* chronometer-certified self-winding Caliber 12.1 Manufacture movement, dipped in a black finish, specific to Haute Horlogerie pieces.

PREMIÈRE GALON

PREMIÈRE GALON DIAMONDS
PREMIÈRE GALON
PREMIÈRE GALON

A new bracelet, a new way of wearing, a new signature.

With PREMIÈRE GALON, the PREMIÈRE watch reinterprets the couture braid, one of CHANEL’s signature elements… and suggests a new lesson in style.

The first watch creation of the House in 1987, the PREMIÈRE made its entrance into the world of watchmaking by liberating itself from masculine codes. An entirely new creation, choosing the octagonal shape of the N°5 perfume bottle stopper and adopting the leather chain from the iconic quilted bag as a bracelet. Born out of absolute freedom of creation, it swiftly became a bold reference in the world of watchmaking. Ever since, its timeless allure has stayed connected with the present.

In 2025, PREMIÈRE borrows the braid from the CHANEL wardrobe, one of its most emblematic signature elements. Gabrielle Chanel applied braided trims to her suits to highlight the edges, decorate the pockets and wrists and thus structure the silhouette. Matching the colours of the suit, or making a contrast for a graphic effect, the braid is created in a wide variety of materials and techniques (knitted, woven, twisted).

The PREMIÈRE GALON bracelet is a bangle made of a twisted braid that offers a new way of wearing. This 18-carat yellow gold bracelet highlights the purity of the black lacquered dial freed of indicators. And because there are as many braids as there are versions of the CHANEL suit, the PREMIÈRE GALON is also available in two versions adorned with diamonds. Retaining its resolutely couture spirit, this precious interpretation of the PREMIÈRE watch enters the world of jewellery.

PREMIÈRE

PREMIÈRE ICONIC CHAIN NECKLACE WATCH
PREMIÈRE ICONIC CHAIN DOUBLE ROW WATCH
PREMIÈRE ICONIC CHAIN DOUBLE ROW WATCH

A true lesson in style, the PREMIÈRE watch freely explores new territories, as seen in two new creations for 2025. For the first, the bracelet lengthens and wraps twice around the wrist; while for the second, the watch becomes a double row necklace.

The PREMIÈRE watch plays with the CHANEL icons: an octagonal case adorned with beveled glass inspired by the N°5 perfume bottle stopper and a supple bracelet, made of a chain interlaced with a leather ribbon – inspired by the shoulder strap of the iconic quilted bag. When the PREMIÈRE opened the first chapter of CHANEL’s watchmaking history in 1987, it asserted its vision of time. Ever since, its timeless allure effortlessly stays connected with the present.

For these two creations, PREMIÈRE plays with its bracelet and reminds us that Gabrielle Chanel always made accessories the signature of her style.

By wrapping the interlaced leather chain twice around the wrist, the PREMIÈRE ICONIC CHAIN DOUBLE ROW bracelet creates a look that is both sensual and unexpected; the black lacquered dial stands out with insolent elegance. With the same free spirit, the PREMIÈRE ICONIC CHAIN NECKLACE transforms the bracelet into a necklace, highlights the graphic lines of the PREMIÈRE watch clasp worn as a pendant. These unique creations add a new chapter to the book of CHANEL style and allure.

CHANEL BLUSH WATCH CAPSULE COLLECTION

In 2025, the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio pays tribute to another world that Gabrielle Chanel reinvented: Beauty. Free and daring, the CHANEL Blush Watch Capsule Collection instills a powerful energy to all its watch collections. Vibrant in color and spirit, this set of precious watches captures the essence of this universe, transcribing its palette and textures into the artistry of contemporary watchmaking.

A century ahead of her time, Gabrielle Chanel changed the codes of fragrance and cosmetics by launching the N°5 perfume and a remarkably refined makeup line in the 1920s. It was as if these powders and lipsticks, placed into black lacquered cases, disregarded color to better reveal it. A multifaceted duality that Arnaud Chastaingt, Director of the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio, has chosen to apply to watchmaking.

“The visual language of CHANEL Beauty creations is both fascinating and graphically very inspiring. I am drawn to the authoritative elegance of these objects — their sophisticated architecture, their striking, deliberate geometry; the depth of black lacquer that intensifies the richness of a crimson hue or the softness of a powdered pink. There is an aesthetic dimension akin to artistic composition in these CHANEL creations. These palettes, pencils, brushes, pigments, and textures — so intrinsic to the art of fine watchmaking — inspired me to establish connections with artistic movements such as Dripping Art and Pop Art. Why not ‘‘put makeup’’ on time to make it more beautiful? This vision of beauty became the heartbeat of the entire collection.”

Inspired by the energy of the color palette designed by CHANEL’s Makeup Creative Studio, the CHANEL Blush Watch Capsule Collection consists of a series of timepieces that showcase the creative power of color and exceptional métiers d’art craftsmanship. Dusted with pink, shaded with red, embossed like eye shadows, randomly splashed, colors become a fully-fledged, living material that the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio makes timeless thanks to the savoir-faire of the House. Grand Feu enamel, decal and pad printing on the dial, airy setting, miniature painting, gold sculpting… The richness and diversity of the métiers d’art highlighted on each watch gives this collection its unique allure. While elevating the symbols of CHANEL Beauty to the status of true jewels.

J12 BLUSH CALIBER 12.1 38 MM WATCH
J12 BLUSH CALIBER 12.2 33 MM WATCH

A camaieu effect of pink and red on the index and bezel of the J12 BLUSH lends the CHANEL timepiece an unparalleled elegance and remarkable strength, born from the contrast between the deep black of the watch’s ceramic body and the lacquered gradient tones of the dial markers and bezel.

These two pieces, available in 38 MM and 33 MM, are equipped with the COSC*-certified self-winding Manufacture movements, Caliber 12.1 and Caliber 12.2, produced by the Swiss Manufacture Kenissi of which CHANEL is co-owner.

MADEMOISELLE J12 BLUSH CALIBER 12.1 38 MM WATCH

On the dial of the MADEMOISELLE J12 BLUSH Caliber 12.1 38 MM, Gabrielle Chanel, depicted in black and white, faces her makeup table. Her beauty essentials (eyeshadows, powders, lipsticks, etc.) are meticulously reproduced in decal with powdery silver and pink tones. They rotate around the dial thanks to a moving disc that completes a full turn every 5 minutes.

Dressed in black ceramic and with a bezel adorned with a baguette motif, this timepiece is equipped with the Caliber 12.1, a self-winding Manufacture movement that is a certified chronometer by the COSC*, produced by the Swiss Manufacture Kenissi of which CHANEL is co-owner.

PREMIÈRE CHARMS BLUSH WATCH

Adorned in black and with a steel chain bracelet interlaced with a black leather ribbon, the Première takes on a bold graphic allure, accented by the six charms featuring the letters of “CHANEL” whose hand-lacquered shades recall those of the House’s nail polish.

PREMIÈRE CUFF BLUSH WATCH

As if immersed in a camaieu of pink and red lipsticks, the PREMIÈRE CUFF BLUSH is an ode to femininity dear to Gabrielle Chanel. Its black-coated steel chain bracelet is made up of seven rows interlaced with leather straps, each donning pink or purple hue. At its heart, the octagonal case and streamlined black lacquered dial express the purity of time.

BOY·FRIEND BLUSH WATCH

A nod to the bright visuals of Pop Art, the BOY·FRIEND BLUSH features on its dial an illustration of Mademoiselle blowing a kiss. In a gradient of pinks, this “COCO KISS” sets the tone of the model with a pink quilted calf leather strap lined with black, and a matching steel case with a pink lacquered bezel. The lacquer was delicately applied by hand, bearing witness to the House’s craftsmanship. A black spinel cabochon adds the finishing touch to the crown.

CODE COCO BLUSH WATCH

The CODE COCO BLUSH bracelet is embossed with the CHANEL logo. The six famous letters adorn a pink calf leather bracelet with an iridescent aspect, lined and covered in black leather. Inspired by the 2.55 handbag, Mademoiselle’s unmistakable clasp secures it on the wrist. One of the two black lacquered dials is set with a white diamond.

J12 BOX “DRIPPING ART”

Like splashes of nail polish projected onto the dials of the J12… When the CHANEL Watch Creation Studio is inspired by dripping art, the result is an exceptional watchmaking pentaptych; an ensemble of five pieces that
together become one.

In order to reproduce the drops of nail polish in Grand Feu enamel onto the ceramic dials of these five J12, the development teams had to carry out a hundred color tests. It took 200 hours of research to develop this highly accurate process for applying enamel to ceramics. Conceived as an art object, this set of J12 watches is showcased in a lacquered wooden box. The inside of the box mimics the splash pattern of the glossy drops to connect each watch to the other.

The J12 BOX “DRIPPING ART” is a limited edition of five pieces that are equipped with the Caliber 12.1 self-winding Manufacture movement and COSC* certified chronometer, with a black finish.

J12 PINK PALETTE WATCH

The visual vocabulary of CHANEL’s legendary lipstick is concentrated in the  J12 PINK PALETTE: an intense black ceramic illuminated by a gradient of baguette-cut pink sapphires set on the bezel and index of the watch. Nine different shades of pink sapphires, from pale pink to deep pink, have been selected to compose this exceptional palette that includes 58 gemstones echoing the colors of CHANEL lipsticks.

This piece is equipped with the Caliber 12.2 COSC* chronometer-certified self-winding Manufacture movement, with a black finish.

J12 PINK LINE WATCH

Ultra bold, the J12 PINK LINE reinterprets the CHANEL lipstick’s codes with a stunning play on black and pink. Expertly set on the wrist, 215 baguette-cut pink sapphires bring a discreet elegance to the silhouette of the J12. In the same spirit, the CHANEL Manufacture has worked on its emblematic material, ceramic, like a precious stone, giving it the shape of baguettes: 342 black ceramic baguettes are set the bracelet of this J12.

The J12 PINK LINE demonstrates the excellence of the House’s setting expertise. Over 300 hours were required by CHANEL Manufacture’s master artisans to position the pink sapphires and black ceramic parts, and a month and a half to shape their openings.

This piece is equipped with the Caliber 12.2 COSC* chronometer-certified self-winding Manufacture movement, with a black finish.

MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ PINCUSHION “BEAUTY ART”

This surrealist-inspired painting on the dial shows Mademoiselle’s hands surrounded by her makeup essentials, intertwined with a miniature necklace set with diamonds and pearls. The hands are carved in gold and set with a pink sapphire. The beauty of the scene resides in the exquisite details executed by Les Cadraniers de Genève* workshop. Tubes of lipstick, an eyeshadow palette, nail polish and blush appear in blackened gold, in miniature painting and enamel for this unique “BEAUTY ART” piece whose black dial is set with 120 diamonds and 234 yellow gold pearls.
*Owned by F.P. Journe.

BOY·FRIEND “COCO ART” WATCH

CHANEL time is inscribed in full on the dial of the BOY·FRIEND “COCO ART” watch, where Mademoiselle looks at her reflection in the mirror of her powder compact case. On a Pop Art style background, Gabrielle Chanel’s image is depicted using the tampography technique: twelve successive prints that have been stamped manually onto the white gold dial. The vibrant colors of this portrait, whose pink background is obtained through Grand Feu enamel, are perfectly represented by Les Cadraniers de Genève*. Chosen for their radiance and the vivacity of their pink hue, 38 baguette-cut sapphires are set on the bezel to illuminate Coco Chanel’s profile.

SECRET WATCH “KISS ME”

Inspired by the iconic lipstick that CHANEL created in 1954, the SECRET WATCH “KISS ME” transforms this everyday beauty essential into an exceptional jewel. In glossy black titanium, the curved square tube conceals a precious black lacquered dial that rests on a luminous ring in yellow gold, set with golden beryls. The design of this piece and its ease of opening make this faux lipstick deceptively realistic. This edition is suspended from a yellow gold chain, accented with mini onyx tubes and rhodolite beads and adorned with a central 0.70 carat diamond.

AMULET WATCH “PROTECT ME”

A play of mirrors, a mythical gaze… That of Gabrielle Chanel whose eye, like a protective symbol, is reproduced in the center of this amulet watch. Made of Grand Feu enamel by Les Cadraniers de Genève* workshop, this stunning motif, astonishing in its precision, is entirely set with 332 natural diamonds – white, beige and brown – whose selection took five months. This famous gaze took two months of work to achieve and features on its back a white gold dial set with diamonds. The AMULET WATCH “PROTECT ME” is worn on a chain made of yellow gold, diamonds and onyx.
*Owned by F.P. Journe.

TALISMAN WATCH “GIVE ME LUCK”

Elevated to the status of jewelry, CHANEL’s LES 4 OMBRES eyeshadow palette is transformed into a precious talisman that tells the time. In onyx, echoing the glossy black case of the blush, the Talisman watch offers a dual aesthetic. On the front, it features a quartet of 37-carat cherry-red rubellite cabochons and five pink tourmalines whose typical arrangement mimics the Byzantine motif dear to Gabrielle Chanel. On the back, the hour-circle, in yellow gold set with diamonds stands out on the onyx square. To give allure to time, this pendant is worn as a necklace on a yellow gold chain studded with onyx and diamonds.

MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ BOUTON CAMELLIA

MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ BOUTON CAMELLIA NECKLACE WATCH
MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ BOUTON CAMELLIA WATCH

Opening the gates to Gabrielle Chanel’s private world, the MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ collection highlights the motifs and symbols she loved to surround herself with. These references have become timeless signatures of her style. One of these is the camellia flower that, in 2025, blossoms on two secret MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ BOUTON CAMELLIA watches.

MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ: the words, engraved on a plaque, first appeared on the door of Gabrielle Chanel’s Creative Studio on rue Cambon. This space, like all her interiors, was decorated with the motifs and symbols that also distinguished her fashion creations. Without losing anything of their originality and withstanding the test of time, they are regularly reinterpreted and allow us to instantly identify a CHANEL creation.

Among them, the camellia, chosen by Gabrielle Chanel for its perfect simplicity: geometric curves and petals of absolute regularity. Often white, the flower blooms on a hat, a dress or a shoe, asserting its perfection on the canvas of a little black dress, adapting its simplicity to every palette. Elegantly discreet, the camellia does not exude a fragrance… so as not to distract from N°5.

Set on a black satin leather strap, the button is adorned with a delicately carved mother-of-pearl camellia set with a diamond centre. Sculpted in yellow gold, it hides the small black lacquered dial, contoured by a fine chain bracelet and a line of diamonds. Suspended from a gold chain, this button embellished with a white mother-of-pearl camellia becomes the heart of the MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ BOUTON CAMELLIA necklace.

THE LION OF MADEMOISELLE

Born under the sign of the Leo, Gabrielle Chanel adopted the feline as her animal totem. An emblem of protection and a symbol of strength, the lion, represented in the precious art pieces of the rue Cambon apartment or on the mother-of-pearl buttons of tweed jackets, lends its image to a sculptural and powerful collection made up of five jewelry-watches and two watchmaking pieces.

The lion is an integral part of Mademoiselle’s inner world” observes Arnaud Chastaingt, Director of the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio. “Today, the lion’s majestic depiction radiates across all of the Maison’s creations, claiming its place among the timeless codes passed on by the designer. It is an inspiring symbol – one whose authority and elegance I hold in deep admiration.

The mastery of animal sculpture beats at the heart of this collection of exceptional pieces. “To me, animal sculpture is an art form in its own right. From the first brush stroke to the final sculpted form, the CHANEL lion is born through a meticulous process – one that demands a perfect balance between an in-depth anatomical understanding of the animal and a true artistic sensibility.

Five jewels that tell the time, a masculine model – the MONSIEUR PLATINUM LION TOURBILLON WATCH – and a clock – the DIAMONDS ASTROCLOCK – enchant THE LION OF MADEMOISELLE collection for which the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio combined jewelry savoir-faire and exceptional watchmaking skills. This ode to the king of animals bestows a different Allure to Time that is even more majestic and generous in its wearing possibilities.

DIAMONDS ASTROCLOCK

With this unique piece, the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio offers a spectacular and celestial vision to counting hours through the image of a regal lion, whose front paw rests on an obsidian ball. Carved in white gold and set with 5,037 diamonds, the king of animals is the guardian of a glass sphere that houses the ASTROCLOCK mechanism. The hours are indicated by a comet on a rotating planet, while the constellation of Leo indicates the minutes. A rotating white gold sphere, covered with brilliant-cut diamonds, indicates that the clock is in motion.

Eight months of work were required for the selection of the diamonds, their positioning one after the other onto the lion’s body, the gold-work and the snow setting of the stones. Created by the CHANEL Watch Manufacture, this watchmaking masterpiece features a self-winding mechanical movement that has a power reserve of 8 days.

NECKLACE WATCH “DOUBLE LION BUTTONS”

Black and gold, two emblematic CHANEL colors, are united in this triple-row long necklace whose perfect draping conceals a double secret. Under one of the buttons, featuring a carved yellow gold lion’s head, a black lacquered dial is hidden while the second feline figure harbors a gold medallion into which a photo can be inserted. The preciousness of this baroque-inspired necklace, made of yellow gold adorned with diamonds and black onyx, required 200 hours of work. The “DOUBLE LION” buttons are connected to the chain by two 0.50 carat central diamonds.

TOI&MOI RING WATCH “THE LION OF MADEMOISELL”

In the spirit of the twin lions that decorate Gabrielle Chanel’s apartment, the CHANEL’s Watchmaking Creation Studio has designed this “Toi & Moi” ring whose leonine profiles are carved like caryatids. Perfectly symmetrical, the two lions frame a dial set with baguette-cut diamonds under which two 0.42 carat princess-cut diamonds each highlight the graphic visuals of this creation. In harmony of style, the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio accentuates the structure of this jewel by diamond-edging the body of the ring and part of the lion’s mane.

MONSIEUR PLATINUM LION TOURBILLON WATCH

This watch sheds a light on the CHANEL signatures and is equipped in its center with a flying tourbillon, adorned with a lion’s head. The feline figure in laser-engraved titanium is visible inside the tourbillon cage whose 72 aerial parts seem to float in the air.

The beating heart of the Caliber 5.1, this flying tourbillon completes a full circle every minute and was designed by the CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio in Paris, then developed and assembled at the CHANEL Watch Manufacture in Switzerland. The deep black of the dial and bracelet underlines the elegance of this timepiece which is enhanced by the presence of a platinum case that shines with bright silver rays.
